Welcome to the discussion area for student learning outcomes for Math 54. The idea behind using this intranet site is to get a dialogue started between members of the Math Department regarding this core course. Primary goals of such a discussion will probably include:
      1. Reviewing the course outline of record.
      2. Sharing individual syllabi.
      3. Discussing commonality and look for an underlying handful of student learning outcomes.
 
(Note: It might include a discussion of what needs there are for the next course in a sequence.)
 
  A key question to consider is the following:
 
  What are the core learning outcomes that students need to demonstrate that they have learned in order to complete the course successfully or to advance to the next course in a sequence?
