Ok, after looking over the outline, I notice that it's a holdover from many years in the past. It basically mentions everything that is covered in Mth 11 AND Mth 54. I believe we had some kind of agreement around the department that the first half of the material would be taught in Mth 11, and the second half (with maybe a little overlap) would be taught in 54. Is that still occuring? Susan B. is not around at the moment, so I can't ask her.
As I know it, the topics are split as follows:
Mth 11
whole #'s, fractions, decimals, ratios and percents
Mth 54
percents (again?), measurement, geometry, signed numbers, and intro to algebra
Can we discuss (or agree on) this first, and then move on to some general objectives and outcomes for 54?
